Lucie Delacy began drawing from a very young age, receiving her first professional portrait commission at age sixteen. Since then she has produced a diverse portfolio of faces. 

A naturally gifted artist, Lucie specialises in portraiture, producing images which capture the individuality and beauty of everyday people. 

The series of illustrations in this site depict the emotive quality that is present in all of Lucie's work, an art practice that reflects a deep understanding of the subtleties of human expression and shows her ability to allow the soul of each of her portrait studies to shine through. 

Lucie lives and works in Byron Bay, Australia and is currently working on her first collection of painted works, including nudes and landscapes.
